Drawing from 100’s of successful transformation over the years, I have put together a free eBook to help you on your journey. In this 30-page guide, I outline the 11 most common misconceptions and roadblocks women encounter, and ways to overcome them for long-lasting weight loss and body transformation success
These 15 books completely changes the way I view the world. If you are anything like I was – struggling with health, happiness and purpose – then these are absolute gold!
This book is crucial for anyone who experiences a lot of stress, whether it be emotional or physical. Gabor Mate’s work is all about looking back into your childhood and uncovering the root of your health challenges.
In 2014 while searching for answers to my health struggles, I came across a Ted talk by Lissa Rankin, titled ‘Is There Scientific Proof we can Heal Ourselves?’. The short answer is yes. I immediately bought this book, and ended up participating in her Whole Health Medicine Institute in 2016 along with many other leading functional medicine practitioners
This is a very eye-opening account of the truth behind depression diagnosis, and natural remedies to support mental health, from a registered and practicing Psychiatrist who has turned her attention from medicating her clients, to curing them through nutrition and lifestyle intervention.
This is a beautiful, easy-to-read spiritual book that highlights the importance of our thoughts and emotions, and how hiding from our true nature can impact how fulfilled we feel in life. I recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about looking within.
I discovered this book in 2014, right after Lissa Rankin’s ‘Mind Over Medicine’ (above). Dr. Joe Dispenza also explores the placebo effect and our potential for self-healing. I felt like this book spoke to my soul, so much so that i jumped on a flight to Seattle, USA to participate in one of his workshops! I am still an avid follower of his work today.
A beautiful fable-style book jam-packed with conventional and spiritual wisdom. I love all Paulo Coelho’s books but this is the first of his I read, so it has a special place in my heart. It is also an all-time best-seller.
I came across this book after learning of the link between childhood trauma, chronic fatigue syndrome and mental health. There are many conditions covered in this book, and it is filled with expansive stories of patients who’s mental and physical health has been restored via his methods.
This one appeals to the creative in me, I love her concepts and how she has so much faith in everyones capacity to create! I recommend for any woman who is looking to reclaim her creativity, or any creative who is struggling with self-belief or trust that creative expression is essential for the soul.
The second book of Dr. Joe’s that I read, outlining the methods he uses with his students to help them break free of the negative habits, thoughts and behaviours that lead to negative health conditions. It’s impossible to express the depth of his work in one paragraph so I’ll just leave you all to look him up and see for yourself!
This is an awesome science-based book on how reality is created through intention, frequency, and emotion. I recommend it for anyone who is sceptical and needs that extra bit of proof in order to believe. The introduction is written by Joe Dispenza too so what more can I say really?
Around 10 years ago my chiropractor informed me that my health conditions could be being impacted by food. I went home I searched ‘mental health and food’, and this is the only one that came up. It speaks of the link between food, your gut health, and your psychology.
Elizabeth Gilbert is a passionate writer and this was her break-through book, about how she left her marriage and life in NYC behind to ‘find herself’. Everyone believed she was crazy, but what she found was ultimately so much happiness, passion, and a love for life again. The movie is amazing too 😉
Joe Dispenza’s work transformed over the years, beginning with the science of healing and reality, and moving into a more ‘mystical’ space. This is his latest work, sharing real-life stories from his students’ mystical experiences, and healings. I can vouch for this as I to have had these experiences in his workshops. I recommend reading his earlier works before tackling this one.
I would say this is a pretty heavy read, but if you love philosophy, wisdom and fairy tales, you may love it. It reflects on old stories and wives tales which have been told to generations of young women, and then analysed from the perception of psychologist in the style of Carl Jung. Women who wish to get more in touch with their true feminine nature will love this book.
I love this book purely for the fact that its simple to read, and contains loads of feminine wisdom. It really spoke to my soul and I found myself screaming an internal yesss over and over. If you feel like you’re here for something special, or you’re a little out of contact with your feminine side, try this one out!
